I had never considered keeping a blog on here, but it seems like a good thing to do since I have some good news. A new video is on the way about the Taunton to Yeovil branch line.
The last production I made with dad was Plymouth to Gunnislake – From the Cab. That was in 2001, just before he passed away. Since then, I haven’t had the confidence to make any new railway productions, but I have been getting the videos on our growing YouTube Channel. I only have a finite number of videos to put up, so I have set to work to make a new video, the first one in over 20 years.
Aarchive is now based in Yeovil, Somerset and the first video I am planning is about the Taunton to Yeovil branch line that was closed in the 1960s.
I have already started to collate information about the line, including the stations and where the train ran. So far, the information has been amazing and people have already contacted me with information about the line.
If you do know anything, have any images or cine film, please let me know.
