New Updates On The Way

2025 has been an odd year so far. I have had big plans for the year, including a lot of video updates, but I’ve just not had the chance to do them. My health has been an issue, which is still is, and I’ve just not had the chance to do much.

I have been in the hospital a few times this year already, but still don’t have a clean bill of health. With all the updates I had planned, I’ve decided to take a different route.

In the long run, I would like to do more writing for the website and turn it into a blog. I have permission to use different photos from different books, and I would like to blog about different stations that have been covered in the videos.

Some updates I did start were Pictorial Histories of certain stations, like this one I made about Yelverton Station on Dartmoor:

The good thing about updates on the website is the blog entries will also become new videos. My Youtube Channel is becoming more and more popular, and I want to keep that up.

When my health is a little better, I will get out and do more filming, but in the meantime, this is a good option.

Each of the blog updates will have details about each station, pictures and a link to any videos I have made. I know a lot of you love a good read, so I’m hoping this will be something for you.

Updates to the Website

The other thing that will happen is updates to the website. These will mostly be cosmetic, a coat of paint if you like. I will still be selling DVD directly, but only the Plymouth Series.

All of the Railway DVDs will be available from Wolverton Rail, so the shop link will go directly to them. I’ve known Ian, who runs the site, for a long while and I’m happy for him to take over the production of the DVDs.

With updates to the site, I will be focusing more on things like Social Media as well. I have Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. All of them I try to get new images up on every week. It’s not always possible, but then, I’m here on my own.

I haven’t yet, but I will be setting up a mailing list so you can get updates. One thing I hate is spam, so I will never spam any emails, it will only be updates about the site and the blog.

I hope this all good news about the updates and here is looking forward.
