Dad would have been 79 today

Dad would have been 79 today. If he was still alive, I know he would have still been making new videos. The guy never stopped working and was never happier with his head buried in a book, researching something or other.

He would always put as much as he could into the scripts we made. This was all before the days of the internet, so he would have a set of books on his desk, going through the details. He didn’t always get it right, but he did his best.

I know people have made comments about small errors in his narration, and his pronunciation of certain place names, but, as I said, he tired his best. And, he was from Plymouth and a Janner, he had trouble with English. I only mean that as a joke. I know doing my own narrations, I really miss him doing it.

I like to make a post on his birthday. I know he would love to see the videos are still doing well and people are still enjoying them.

I’ve not been well over the holiday period, but it has given me the chance to do some reading and research. I have big plans for 2025, so here is too a good year.
